We are a parish of members living on or near the shores of Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix in the northwest corner of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. We are a church community in the Anglican (Episcopal) tradition, welcoming all, and serving Christ through worship, spiritual growth, and care for one another, the community, and God’s world. For over 120 years, we have honored scripture, tradition, and reason as we seek to know and to do the will of God in our lives.
Our rector, the Rev. Thomas O’Dell. Father Tom retired from All Saints Episcopal Church in Omaha, Nebraska. He celebrated his first service with us on Pentecost, June 8, 2014. On Tuesday, July 15, 2014, the Rt. Rev. Whayne Hougland, Jr., Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Western Michigan, joined us at Christ Church for the Service of Celebration of a New Ministry welcoming Father Tom to his new ministry in Charlevoix.
We have been very fortunate to have dedicated and excellent supply priests who assisted us by celebrating our worship services during our transition period. We thank them all for their presence in our lives.
Please come and join us for worship and fellowship. Our Sunday service begins at 10:00 a.m. with a coffee hour following the service. We would like you to be a part of our parish life.
